Our CrossFit Kids program is designed to establish good patterns early by making fitness fun and rewarding. CrossFit Kids is much more than just a scaled-down version of CrossFit. It is specifically designed for a child's neurological, cognitive, and motor development. Our program is about Broad, Inclusive, General fitness wrapped up in FUN!
Why not tee-ball or ballet?
Most kids programs focus on the narrow range of physical skills that compliment a given sport or activity. For example soccer kids develop good speed and cardio, while gymnasts develop flexibility and coordination.
CrossFit Kids is different. The aim of our program is to develop all of your child's physical skills including cardiovascular endurance, stamina, strength, power, speed, flexibility, agility, accuracy, balance, and coordination.
Broad and general competency across multiple fitness domains translates into higher performance in all physical activities including sports, dance, or whatever else your child takes an interest in.
Will CrossFit Kids help my child lose weight?
You have probably read about Michele Obama's campaign against childhood obesity. We are extremely excited that so much public attention is being directed to our children's health. However, experience shows that focusing too much on a child's body composition and outward appearance can have unintended consequences.
Our kids program is focused on positive outcomes. We design a fitness experience that will make your child love movement and feel confident in his or her body. Your child's body composition will normalize naturally and safely as his or her love of movement grows.
